Briel Lido Espresso Review
What did you like?
This is a very good, at home, high quality espresso maker that won't break the bank. As tempted as I am by the true high-end machines, I just can't justify the cost. This seemed a good compromise, and has been so far. At first, it wasn't producing a high enough temperature, but I read some information online which recommended loosening the adjustment screw, which has generally solved the issue. It's a smallish machine, fits on the counter easily, and is reasonably attrative (although I would prefer stainless). It's easy to clean and produces good espresso with a beautiful crema (or can steam as well, if you prefer milk drinks). I'm a definite fan.What didn't you like?
The adjustment would have been tricky based on the customer service information, but I found someone who had the same issue online.Overall, what did you think?This is a very good espresson maker for the price. I'm not sure how much worse than the very expensive ones it really is.
