Sony DAV-DX150 Review
What did you like?
This home theater system is decent. It has a 5 DVD changer interface which is easy to use. Its menu configuration has a wide range of sound options including Dolby Pro Logic, Dolby Pro Logic II, DTS 96/24, and Dolby Digital along with a set of environments which can be chosen to adjust the music to ones liking. Color coded wires and easy instructions make this device very easy to set up and connecting them with your TV and auxiliary device or out source is a breeze. The product has a nice slick design, and looks futuristic.
What didn't you like?
The 5 DVD changer interface is a little slow when opening to insert DVDS. Speakers interface is 2.7 Ohms which is incompatible with most speakers out there meaning you can’t add that 8 ohms speakers you had in mind. Remote control is not easy to use. If you are playing a DVD with a 1000 mp3's on it you have to search and play them one by one, you cant just simply choose number 789 and play it.
Overall, what did you think?
For a home entertaining system, this product is a nice choice. It will give you a detailed, nice sound and its worth its value. If buying this product please have in mind this system is not for you to blast your home while listening to music, its intended mostly for movies.
