Best bang for the buck:

Forschner Rosewood Steak Knives
These knives are an excellent value at alomost 1/4 the price of the
other knives we tried yet they perform very well.

Best set to give for a gift when you want to impress:

Shun Steak Knives:

Shun Knives are top quality and they gleam in your hand like jewels. The knives are razor sharp and come in a very attractive bamboo gift box. 

Best looking steak knife set:

Global Steak Knives are super stylish and very sharp as well. We would have given the award of best gift but the packaging is somewhat cheap.  

Best steak knives for long lasting performance:

Wusthof Classic Steak Knives are heavy duty forged knives that will last a lifetime and if they don't they come with a lifetime warranty. Great quality and a reasonable price for forged knives that will last.
