Wusthof Classic Review
Wusthof Classic
knives are the best selling knives of all Wusthof lines. They are drop forged and have the classic three rivet handle that so many people are familiar with. I own a
Wusthof
Classic 8" Chef's knife and have used it for several years. The knife is super tough and has stood the test of time. It can take abuse that I would not want to subject my more delicate Japanese knives.
There are a few issues that I don't like. The bolster goes all the way down the width of the knife and gets in the way after sharpening grinds down the edge. Also the knife is difficult to sharpen easily. Overall these are good knives and deserving of consideration.
