What did you like?
This is a classic hotel and it lives up to the billing. I prefer the tower rooms--recently renovated, nicely appointed with a contemporary feel. The old building rooms have a more classic feel to them and unless you can get a larger room (or suite) there, I'd go for the tower. The staff is good and there's a very nice (Michael Mina designed) restaurant.What didn't you like?
Oddly, there's free wifi in the lobby and in Union Square, but they charge in the rooms. This is unfortunate for those not traveling on business.Overall, what did you think?This is a justifiably famous hotel, which has hosted its share of events both positive and negative. It's definitely worth staying in this great location off Union Square.
